A meeting between the Ukrainian and American presidents at the White House is not currently scheduled.
A meeting between the presidents of the United States and Ukraine, Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky, is not scheduled in the U.S. this week. This was reported to the Public by sources in the White House.
As is known, earlier media reported that there was a request from the Ukrainian side for a meeting between the two presidents in Washington to agree on the terms of the 'peace plan' before Trump's deadline, which ends on November 27, Thursday. Media also reported that the White House set productive negotiations in Geneva as a condition for a meeting between Trump and Zelensky.
Furthermore, as reported by Financial Times journalist Christopher Miller on X, the question of Zelensky's trip to Washington has been under consideration in the President's Office since last week when this new pressure from Trump began.
'There are two camps: one believes that Zelensky needs to go to Washington to discuss this with Trump in person; the other fears that everything could go wrong... and lead to a serious failure. Whether Zelensky will go to Washington again will depend on the results of the negotiations and whether Ukrainians believe there is something they can sign without selling out the country,' Miller wrote.
