The situation in the Pokrovsk area remains critical, Russian troops continue to accumulate forces in the city itself, gradually strengthening control over its outskirts, setting up positions and taking control of logistics, reports the Ukrainian analytical center DeepState, LETA writes, citing UNN.

Meanwhile, Russian troops are also trying to establish control over the territory between Pokrovsk and Grishino, while simultaneously seeking to break into Grishino itself. Ukrainian special units are operating in this area, as it is crucial for the logistics of Pokrovsk.
"However, all this does not solve the main problem — blocking the enemy on the southern outskirts of the city to prevent its penetration deeper," emphasizes DeepState, noting that the Russians have already taken positions there and are establishing control over the territory, so the opportunity for blocking has effectively already been missed.
Analysts also report that Myrnohrad is cut off from the outside world, and its loss will be a serious blow.
