People in Russia were probably told the same thing about Europeans and Americans, suggested Musk Sr., who came to Russia.
Errol Musk himself has heard similar fears about the Russians. "They are coming to kill you and destroy everything," he quoted some of them.
The businessman’s father also shared his experience visiting the Museum of Technology in Russia. There, he saw Brezhnev's limousine, which had a red button built into it. Pressing it activated the deployment of antennas that allowed ballistic missiles to be launched at countries in Europe and the USA, explained Elon Musk's father.
"The Russians were told here that they had to do this. And we were told that on our side we also had to do this," noted Errol Musk. Both sides, according to him, saw each other as crazy, from whom anything could be expected.
