In the elections for local government assemblies, the Center Party received the most votes among parties in the overall tally across the country.

The Center Party received 21.1 percent of the total votes, followed by the Isamaa party with 18.6 percent, the Reform Party with 10 percent, and the Social Democratic Party with 9.9 percent.

The Conservative People's Party of Estonia was supported by 8.2 percent of voters, the Right party by 4.7 percent, and Eesti 200 by 1.7 percent.

According to Tallinn's mayor, Social Democrat Eugene Osinovsky, after the elections, the social democrats are working to form a new ruling coalition in the capital without the participation of the Center Party, writes Postimees.

He stated that it is theoretically possible that the Reform Party, Isamaa, or Parempoolsed, which entered the city council, might want to help the Center Party come to power; however, the social democrats are focused on continuing the policy in Tallinn that has been in place for the last year and a half.

He added that the Reform Party's mayoral candidate, Maris Lauri, confirmed a similar intention from her party, so he is optimistic. Osinovsky also noted that he would like to continue working as the mayor of Tallinn in a coalition that will start working after the elections.

Osinovsky ruled out the possibility of the social democrats joining a coalition with the Center Party. "The social democrats promised that we would not support the election of Mihhail Kõlvart as mayor, and we will keep our word," said Osinovsky.

In the elections for the Tallinn City Council, the Center Party, social democrats, Isamaa, the Reform Party, and Parempoolsed were elected. The EKRE and Eesti 200, which previously held seats in the city council, did not overcome the electoral threshold and did not enter the new composition.
