The President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, allowed the departure of Belarusian opposition leader Svetlana Tikhanovskaya from the country. This came against the backdrop of the decision by Lithuanian authorities to reduce the level of protection for Tikhanovskaya. According to him, nothing changes regarding Tikhanovskaya after this decision. "The task of Ms. Tikhanovskaya and her team is to assess whether they want to stay in Lithuania or choose another place," Nausėda stated.
