This is already the third combat readiness check of the troops this year.
By order of Alexander Lukashenko, the Belarusian army is conducting a check of its highest level of combat readiness. This was reported the day before by the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
It is claimed that as part of the check, units of the Belarusian army will move to designated areas and carry out actions specified in the order, notes the Russian service of Radio Polska.
In the first phase of the check, tank and mechanized units have moved to the training ground in a combined manner and occupied concentration areas.
In the second phase, military units are marching to their designated areas, including crossing a water obstacle via a deployed pontoon bridge. Upon arrival in the areas, servicemen will be required to perform control shooting exercises with standard weapons.
This is already the third combat readiness check of the troops this year. The previous two took place in February and March.
In March, the exercises included, in particular, the transfer of troops and equipment to training grounds. Exercises of internal and territorial troops are also being conducted, as well as the recruitment of reservists.
In September, exercises "West-2025" took place in Belarus with the participation of Russian servicemen. They were perceived as a threat to European countries by the EU and NATO.
Russia is actively militarizing Belarus. The Lukashenko regime, which has become a satellite of the Kremlin, does not oppose this and even requests the placement of nuclear weapons on its territory. The Belarusian industry is also working to meet the needs of the Russian army.
