Mobile launcher X-MAV for Tomahawk missiles unveiled in the USA.

American company Oshkosh Defense has introduced a line of mobile launchers in the USA. This was reported on the organization's website.

The firm showcased a family of multipurpose autonomous vehicles (FMAV) at the AUSA 2025 exhibition. The series includes the multipurpose autonomous vehicle (X-MAV) — a launcher capable of autonomous firing, designed to work with long-range munitions. It is specified that the X-MAV can be armed with four Tomahawk missiles.

The medium multipurpose autonomous vehicle (M-MAV) features remote control and automated supply capabilities. The vehicle is equipped with a family of munitions for the multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). The light multipurpose autonomous vehicle (L-MAV) has a modular design. The L-MAV can be used for countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and electronic warfare.

"The Army has clearly stated the need for the creation of autonomous, payload-independent platforms that are already ready," noted Oshkosh Defense representative Pat Williams. He emphasized that the family of mobile launchers has been developed based on proven tactical vehicles.
