In Feodosia, on the Russia-occupied Crimean Peninsula, a large fire broke out at the oil depot on Monday night following a strike by Ukrainian drones — the flames were visible for several kilometers, representatives of the occupying authorities and Crimean media reported, according to LETA citing Ukrainska Pravda.
The strike on the oil depot in Feodosia was confirmed by local official Sergey Aksyonov.
Numerous videos showing the large-scale fire have been published on social media and local Telegram channels.
The videos show a huge column of fire and black smoke rising above the site.
Eyewitnesses report that the glow from the fire was visible in many areas of the city.
The Telegram channel "Supernova+" also reported a possible fire at one of the gas stations in the same area. Information about the incident and the extent of damage to the infrastructure is currently being clarified.
Last week, Ukraine carried out a drone strike on the oil terminal in Feodosia, the largest in Crimea. The fire lasted for two days at that time.
