Kennedy Jr.: there is a close connection between circumcision and autism.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stated that there is a close connection between circumcision and autism. This was reported by UPI.

"Two studies show that children who are circumcised early have autism rates that are twice as high," he said at a cabinet meeting.

In his opinion, the higher incidence of this condition is related to the use of Tylenol. Kennedy did not specify which studies he was referring to, but a Danish report from 2015, which surveyed 334,000 men from Generation Z, showed that men who were circumcised were more likely to develop autism by the age of 10 than those who were not circumcised.

As noted by the publication, acetaminophen, the active analgesic in Tylenol, is commonly prescribed to pregnant women; however, there is a belief that it may increase the risk of autism in children.

Earlier, White House representative Kush Desai stated that the administration of President Donald Trump has made historic progress in the fight against autism. He noted that the team led by Kennedy Jr. has achieved success.
