Poland is developing a plan to improve the health of military personnel, which will address obesity among soldiers. According to RMF24, this was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of the country, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz.

According to him, military personnel will undergo special training. This will be done to improve the overall physical fitness of soldiers.

According to a study by the Military Medical Institute, one of the main problems in the Polish army is currently excess weight. This issue affects 58% of soldiers over the age of 50. Additionally, military personnel in Poland abuse harmful habits. Over 46% of soldiers smoke.

"This is already a generation that sits behind phones and computers and has problems with physical fitness. The guys are not very strong," said survival instructor Pawel Sleddak in an interview.
