AFP: IDF struck Gaza despite the peace deal.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck northern areas of the Gaza Strip despite the announcement of a peace deal. This was reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP) citing the Gaza Civil Defense service.
"Since the announcement last night of the agreement on the proposed ceasefire regime, several explosions have been reported, particularly in areas in northern Gaza," the statement said.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Israel and Hamas had signed the first phase of a plan to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip. He described this event as a "great day" for the Arab world, thanking Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt for their mediation.
