Despite the calls from U.S. President Donald Trump to cease the shelling of the Gaza Strip, Israel has again struck this territory with air and artillery strikes. Seven people have already fallen victim to the bombings, as reported by Al Jazeera.

In addition, more than two dozen homes have been destroyed. According to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City, four people were injured as a result of a strike on a residential building in the Tuffah area. Four of them could not be saved. Furthermore, the Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis was shelled, and doctors were unable to save the lives of two children.

Prior to this, the Galey Tzahal radio reported that Israeli authorities ordered the cessation of the operation to occupy Gaza. This decision was made after the warring parties agreed to begin implementing Trump's peace plan. Israeli military forces were reportedly instructed to minimize combat operations and occupation in Gaza and were allowed to conduct only defensive actions.
