Во Дворце VEF состоится танцевальный спектакль "Тело"

The performance "The Body" is a dance confession of a woman who learned to hear herself and others through dance -- choreographer, author of the performance, and head of the DK Dance Theatre, Darina Kudlaeva. "It will be a very personal, deep, and beautiful conversation -- without words. Music and our movements, our breath, our bodies will 'speak.' Our feelings..." - says Darina.

-- The last few years have been incredibly eventful for me: New York, Nepal, India, Italy... Different cultures, mentalities, energies, but wherever I went, I suddenly began to understand one very important thing more clearly: despite the differences, we are united by something much deeper than society. Not language, not status, not culture. We are united by the soul. Warmth. Love. And the need to be heard.

The performance "The Body" was born from the desire to speak to the audience in the language of emotions, feelings, and movement, because the body cannot lie -- it holds all our fears, unprocessed grievances, inner traumas, love, gratitude, fatigue, hope, and even those feelings we are afraid to admit to ourselves. That is why so much attention is paid in the performance to a person's inner state, their ability to feel, and to maintain a connection with themselves even in the most difficult periods.

Today, unfortunately, many people live in a state of burnout. People desperately seek meaning, get tired, despair, and shut themselves off. And I want to remind through dance: happiness begins "here and now." Sometimes, to come alive, it is enough to simply breathe and allow yourself to move.

We Are All Beads

-- The performance features people of different ages -- from 6-year-old children to adult artists over 50. They do not just dance. It is primarily a huge inner work of a person on themselves. When you learn not only to master your own body but also to be part of something bigger. To feel another person nearby. To support. There is a very important thought that I want to convey through this performance. Responsibility is not a burden. It is love.

I often compare our theater to a string of beads: each bead is important. If one falls out, everything falls apart. And life is exactly the same. Every person is needed. Everyone is important. Each one is part of a large beautiful mechanism.

I want people to leave the performance with the feeling: "I am loved. I am needed. My presence matters."

A special place in the performance is occupied by the theme of gratitude, which is dedicated to one of the strongest parts of the production -- a dance trilogy, where children, teenagers, and adult artists come together. This is a moment of absolute sincerity, where the body speaks of goodness and the ability to remain human.

My GIFT

-- Recently, I received a patent for my own dance method GIFT. And for me, this is much more than a dance technique. GIFT is discipline, involvement, and inner resilience. It is a methodology about how through movement a person can hear their soul, experience unprocessed emotions, release inner pain, and regain a state of wholeness.

On June 28, we invite the audience not just to a premiere -- we invite you to experience a beautiful emotional journey with us. And to hear and accept this with all your heart: you are as you are -- and that is wonderful. You are important. You can love and be loved. And that is cool.

On June 28 at 19:30, the dance performance "The Body" will take place at the VEF Palace. This is a story about each of us. About feelings that cannot be hidden. About how the soul sounds through movement.
