Miroslava Mikhailova admitted that she is happy in her relationship with actor Pyotr Rykov. Despite the significant age difference, the daughter of the People's Artist assures that she feels calm and confident next to her beloved. Moreover, her partner has already met her famous parents and received their approval.
In a new interview, Miroslava talked about her life with movie star Pyotr Rykov, who is 20 years older than her. However, according to the 23-year-old actress, the age difference is hardly noticeable. Next to her more experienced partner, she feels comfortable and protected.
"A girl always wants to remain small and defenseless. This is a very important factor for me. We live in an interesting age of strong women, but at the same time, there is less masculine energy. This is my subjective opinion.
Moreover, I grew up in a Soviet family. I have a certain upbringing, and it does not resonate with the upbringing of modern youth. Among my friends, there are few peers. Of course, there are some, but they are fewer. Therefore, I do not feel the difference next to Pyotr," noted Mikhailova.
Miroslava's parents warmly welcomed their daughter's new partner. The union of two creative people was also approved by Alexander Yakovlevich, who is usually quite demanding of the heiress of a famous acting dynasty.
"If you love a person, you give yourself entirely to that feeling. It's not about the spark, because it is short-lived. What ignites quickly, extinguishes just as fast. I love calmness, balance. It is important for me to feel a human soul. This is the most important factor. And Alexander Yakovlevich, like my mother, warmly accepted Pyotr and me. This is also important for me," shared Miroslava.
In a conversation with journalists, the actress also recalled her years of study at VGIK, where her father taught. According to Miroslava, the famous actor never gave her any leniency and was even stricter than with other students.
"These were the hardest three years of my life. Throughout my studies, Alexander Yakovlevich became the only teacher from whom I never heard praise. If criticism was needed — that was easy. If support was needed — no, that was done by other teachers. Everyone except him. But I am grateful to my dad! Probably, I would not have received such experience anywhere else, because the training was incredible. I went through a real school of life.
There were a lot of nerves and misunderstandings. But at some point, we both calmed down. Perhaps my father saw my work and realized that I am a decent actress and that he can be proud of me," she confessed.
Miroslava also mentioned that she always feared not meeting her parents' expectations. Nevertheless, she decided to continue the acting dynasty and today does not regret her choice. She already has dozens of roles in film and theater.
"The fear of letting them down has always been there. I understood that I had a colossal responsibility. Of course, it was hard. At some point, I decided that if I am acting in films, I must do it with dignity, so I wouldn't be ashamed of myself. Rumors, gossip, different opinions have always existed, but you quickly get used to it. They expressed their opinions? Good for them, they are right! But for me, the most important thing is my inner tuning fork," emphasized the actress.
Today, Miroslava Mikhailova confidently builds her own career and personal life, trying not to look back at others' expectations. The support of her loved ones and her partner helps her feel more confident both on and off the set.
