The star of "Ural Pelmeni" Dmitry Brekotkin, raising four children, candidly spoke about parenthood and admitted that he is still not sure what kind of father he has become.
Dmitry Brekotkin is a father of many children. The star of "Ural Pelmeni" has four heirs — two daughters from his first marriage and a son and daughter from his current wife. The artist shared his impressions of parenthood.
According to Dmitry, fatherhood brings him a variety of emotions, sometimes contradictory. He admits that he still does not fully understand what kind of father he has become. The artist notes that at first he considered himself a reserved and rational person, but in moments related to his children, he is unexpectedly overwhelmed by strong feelings — even to the point of tears.
One of Dmitry's daughters, Anastasia, is already married. The comedian briefly talked about his relationship with his son-in-law. "I can't say we had many moments to test our relationship. Not much time has passed," said Brekotkin.
Dmitry's first wife, Ekaterina, gave birth to his daughters Anastasia and Elizabeth. This marriage lasted 22 years, and the divorce took place in 2017. According to Brekotkin's mother, the reason for the breakup was the artist's busy schedule. Due to constant touring, he became distant from his family.
Now 53-year-old Dmitry is married to a girl named Olesya. She has given birth to the star of "Ural Pelmeni" a son, Gosha, and a daughter, Margarita.
Despite his experience and large family, Brekotkin admits: fatherhood remains a complex and emotional journey for him, in which strict rationality unexpectedly gives way to sincere feelings.
