Just half a tablespoon at the end of cooking: one secret technique will turn stewed cabbage into a masterpiece

Stewed cabbage is a healthy dish that doesn't turn out tasty for every cook. To add expressiveness and freshness to the already prepared dish, it is enough to add half a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.

Ingredients:

  • one small head of young white cabbage;

  • one tablespoon of oil;

  • one and a half teaspoons of salt;

  • half a teaspoon of black pepper;

  • half a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar;

  • one tablespoon of fresh thyme.

Preparation:

Chop the cabbage and place it in a heated pan with oil, add salt and pepper, and sauté for 10–15 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally to allow it to brown slightly. After removing from the heat, pour in the vinegar and mix thoroughly. Adjust the taste if necessary by adding salt, pepper, or vinegar, and before serving, sprinkle with fresh thyme.
