Eggshells are a source of calcium for plants, but they need to be processed correctly. To obtain a beneficial fertilizer, it is important to follow the preparation technology and dosage.
To prepare the fertilizer, take the shells of ten eggs and two cups of nine percent vinegar. The shells are soaked in vinegar and left for a day. As a result, calcium acetate is formed, which plants easily absorb. The resulting mixture is diluted as follows: one tablespoon per one liter of water. This solution is used to water seedlings and houseplants every two weeks. This will provide the plants with the necessary calcium and promote their healthy growth.
