Actress Ksenia Alferova candidly spoke for the first time about her difficult childhood, her relationship with her stepfather Alexander Abdulov, and her painful parents' divorce.
Ksenia is the daughter of actress Irina Alferova and Bulgarian politician Boyko Gyurov, but from an early age, she perceived Alexander Abdulov as her biological father. He entered her life when she was seven years old.
According to the actress, her parents' divorce was a serious shock for her. Her childhood was marked by constant conflicts, of which she had to be a witness.
"Mom cried, and I thought: when will he leave? You can't humiliate a mother in front of a child, use bad words — it hurts a lot," Alferova shared.
She emphasized that such an atmosphere greatly affects a child, who takes what is happening personally.

After the Divorce
After parting ways with Irina Alferova, Alexander Abdulov started a new family — he had a wife, Yulia, and a daughter, Evgenia.
Ksenia admitted that she does not maintain communication with them. She tried to establish contact, considering it her duty, but these attempts were unsuccessful.
According to her, over time she realized that these people were strangers to her. However, she speaks warmly of Abdulov's daughter, Evgenia, noting her talent and personal qualities.
The Unsaid
Alferova also shared a personal regret: before Abdulov's death in 2008, she did not manage to visit him in the hospital.
He was waiting for the meeting, but the actress was in a hurry to get to her little daughter and decided to postpone the visit.
"There was no next time. This is a lesson — not to postpone important things," she admitted.
A New Stage in Life
Today, Ksenia Alferova is going through a difficult period in her own life — a divorce from her husband. Although the acute pain has subsided, the feelings and disappointment remain.
The actress admits that the experience has changed her attitude towards people and trust:
"I will not go into a relationship with someone who has betrayed. If a person is unfaithful in small things, they will be unfaithful in big ones."
