Oksana Samoilova and Djigan resolved the issue of property division without litigation. The spouses signed a settlement agreement, deciding to distribute their jointly acquired assets by mutual agreement.
House and Compensation
One of the key issues was the country house. It remained with Djigan; however, the artist agreed to pay his ex-wife compensation for her share. At the same time, the amount of the payment, according to sources, will be below the market value of the property.
How the Property Was Divided
Most of the property went to Oksana Samoilova — she retained two apartments. Djigan was left with one apartment.
Some assets, including the family farm, the parties decided not to include in the agreement, as they were not a subject of dispute.
Issues Regarding the Children
It is noted separately that there were no disagreements regarding the children between the couple. This aspect was settled without going to court.
Compromise Instead of Dispute
Earlier, Djigan had attempted to contest the prenuptial agreement; however, in the end, the parties reached a compromise.
The couple's intention to part ways became known last autumn, although the reasons for the breakup were not publicly disclosed.
Thus, the spouses managed to avoid lengthy court proceedings and complete the division of property out of court.
