“Surgery may be needed”: Mikhail Yevdokimov’s son spoke about a serious diagnosis

The story of Mikhail Yevdokimov's family has taken a new turn two decades after the tragedy. His son Danil Belov publicly spoke for the first time about serious health problems.

The young man was born just a few days before the car accident that claimed Mikhail Yevdokimov's life, and he never had the chance to see his father. His upbringing was handled by his mother — model Inna Belova. According to Danil himself, he is left with only mementos related to his parent.

The diagnosis he learned about by chance

Danil spoke about his condition on the program “The Stars Aligned.” During a routine examination, he was diagnosed with left ventricular hypertrophy — a condition in which the walls of the heart thicken.

"This is the thickened walls of the heart, it is hereditary, but it also worsens when you engage in weightlifting. I used to do it, but I no longer do," he noted.

The dangers of this disease

According to specialists, such a pathology can go for a long time without pronounced symptoms. However, in some cases, it increases the risk of serious complications, including sudden cardiac death.

Doctors emphasize that with adherence to recommendations, one can lead a full life with this diagnosis, but regular monitoring is necessary.

Possible treatment

Danil himself does not rule out that he may need serious intervention in the future. This includes, in particular, surgery to replace a heart valve.

He is currently under medical supervision and is re-evaluating his lifestyle, paying more attention to his health.
