Insiders have lifted the veil on the fabulous sums that the young actors in the long-awaited adaptation of the Harry Potter world will receive for the first season.
The young talents selected to embody iconic characters in the upcoming television version of 'Harry Potter' can boast impressive fees. According to The Sun, each of the three main actors — Arabella Stanton (the new Hermione), Dominic MacLoughlin (the new Harry), and Alastair Stout (the new Ron) — will earn $740,000 for the first season. When calculated per episode, this exceeds $86,000. Insiders describe these amounts as simply 'mind-blowing,' especially considering that the children have not even reached their teenage years. One source confidently states, 'If they continue in the same vein, they will become multimillionaires before they turn 18.'

However, as impressive as these sums may seem, the young talents still have a long way to go to reach the earnings of the original cast. Remember that for the first film of the legendary Potter franchise, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint each received over $1 million.
Casting and Expected Premiere
All three main actors were chosen from an incredibly large number of applicants — the casting attracted over 32,000 candidates! The recently presented first teaser trailer of the series transported viewers 25 years forward after the events of the original cult film franchise. The premiere of the first season, consisting of eight episodes and based on the first book 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone,' is scheduled for Christmas 2026.

Reactions of Predecessors and New Controversies
Although the young artists themselves are currently silent about their participation in the project, their renowned predecessors have already shared their impressions of the new cast. Daniel Radcliffe, forever associated with the image of Harry Potter in film, warmly noted that the children look 'incredibly young.' He sincerely admitted, 'I look at them and think, 'God, how young I was when I filmed this.' It's incredibly sweet, and I hope they have a great time,' said the actor, whose net worth is now estimated at nearly 12 billion rubles.

It is worth reminding that the casting process for the series has already sparked heated discussions. Fans of the franchise expressed their outrage over the casting of Black actor Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape. Many fans are convinced that the image of the potions professor is inextricably linked to the unique appearance of the late Alan Rickman. Paapa Essiedu recently candidly shared that he faces daily racist threats, but he views this as additional motivation in his acting career.
