On the eve of the arrival of her second child, the actress shared her personal story about the loss she experienced and how professional help helped her cope with her fears.
Awaiting her second child, 40-year-old Ekaterina Shpitsa shared her intimate experiences about her previous pregnancy, which, unfortunately, ended in a miscarriage. The actress does not hide that after the missed pregnancy, she was plagued by "certain fears," but with the help of a qualified psychologist, she was able to overcome them.
"Of course, when you go through such an experience, there are certain fears. But there are now good specialists in psychology who help to overcome these fears," the actress told Super.
Tragedy and New Beginnings
In 2024, Ekaterina Shpitsa and her husband, entrepreneur and fitness trainer Ruslan Panov, faced a bitter loss. "Unfortunately, there is no heartbeat. The diagnosis is a missed pregnancy," Shpitsa wrote on social media, sharing her pain. After what she had experienced, it was not easy for the actress to make the decision to try for a new pregnancy, but fate brought them joyful news: at the end of 2025, it became known that Ekaterina was expecting a child again.
Awaiting the Addition
The movie star happily announced that she and her husband already know the gender of their future baby and have even chosen a name for him. However, the couple is not in a hurry to share these details with the public. Interestingly, Ekaterina and Ruslan decided to forgo a trendy gender reveal party.
Ekaterina's Family
This will be Ekaterina's second child. The actress is currently a happy mother to 13-year-old son Herman, who was born during her marriage to actor and stuntman Konstantin Adaev. Shpitsa divorced her first husband shortly after the birth of their first child. In 2021, her partner became Ruslan Panov, the owner of a chain of fitness clubs.
