The day before, blogger Lerchek (Valeria Chekalina) became a mother for the fourth time. However, after giving birth, it became known that the social media star was admitted to oncology intensive care. Later, Lera's boyfriend, Luis Squicciarini, reported that the 33-year-old mother of many children was diagnosed with cancer, but he preferred not to disclose the details.
These details were shared by Lerchek's friend, blogger Alina Akilova. According to the former partner of Nikolai Serdyukov, Chekalina has stage four stomach cancer and metastases have begun to affect her lungs.
"Stage four cancer with metastases. She just gave birth to a baby, and then this happens. Judging by her post, she wasn’t allowed to leave the house for tests," Akilova wrote.

Previously, the girls were friends, but after Chekalina was banned from using her phone amid legal proceedings and house arrest, their connection practically ceased. However, as Akilova claims, she continues to keep in touch with the blogger's relatives and learned about Valeria's condition from them.
She also emphasized that she is still looking for information on possible treatment options and hopes that the blogger has a chance for recovery.

Public figures have already reacted to the situation. TV presenter Victoria Bonya stated that Chekalina needs to be given the opportunity to focus on her treatment. She also mentioned the initiative of lawyer and public figure Katya Gordon, who is calling for the blogger's release from house arrest during her therapy.
