The price set by the businessman is almost three times higher than the amount he paid for the land in 2017, when it cost him £25 million ($33 million).

The estate, covering about 21,000 acres, is located near the Cairngorms National Park and, according to real estate descriptions, is "perfect for passionate hunters." Here, one can hunt for grouse, snipe, and woodcock, while the river is renowned for its abundance of salmon (the local fishing grounds are recognized as the best in Europe). At the center of the estate is the Edwardian castle Tulchan Lodge with 14 bedrooms, which Shefler has fully renovated, adding a cinema and spa area.

Tulchan has a long and rich history. Initially, its owners were members of the Scottish aristocracy, and among its guests over time were Kings Edward VII, George V, and George VI, the 26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt, and Belgian King Leopold I. In 1993, the estate was purchased by businessman Leon Litchfield and his wife Jillian, who established the company Tulchan Sporting Estates Ltd. to manage the estate.

Last summer, Shefler's partner, model and Miss World 2008 titleholder Ksenia Sukhinova, gave birth to their second child — a boy named Aron. The couple also has a son, Artyom, who is now about four years old. Additionally, the billionaire has four other children from previous relationships.

Yuri Shefler is the founder of the major alcoholic beverage producer SPI Group (the company's most famous brand is Stolichnaya vodka), for which he earned the unofficial nickname "vodka king." Currently, according to Forbes, his net worth is estimated at $1.1 billion. Notably, it was Shefler to whom Angelina Jolie sold her share in the French estate Château Miraval, which she co-owned with Brad Pitt, for $64 million in 2022. The star ex-spouses are still in litigation over this deal.
