By stimulating the production of gastric juice, the consumption of instant coffee improves the digestion process, especially of proteins. At the same time, caffeine can lead to various unpleasant symptoms if a person has a history of peptic ulcer disease or suffers from irritable bowel syndrome.
The habit of drinking instant coffee on an empty stomach is extremely harmful. It increases the risk of developing peptic ulcers and heartburn. One should also not forget that caffeine raises blood pressure and increases heart rate. The positive aspect is that coffee stimulates the nervous system, meaning its consumption helps with concentration and alertness. However, one should not get carried away with the drink, as it can lead to the opposite result – anxiety, nervousness, and headaches.
There is little benefit in "3-in-1" coffee. The fact is that this powder consists mostly of sugar, artificial additives, and trans fats. Therefore, its consumption can provoke allergic reactions and fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
