Before breakfast, many specialists recommend drinking a glass of warm water with a slice of lemon — this helps to gently kickstart the body's functions. After that, you can proceed to prepare the dish.
Ingredients
For the oatmeal pancake:
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons of oatmeal
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- a pinch of salt
For the filling:
- cream cheese
- arugula or lettuce leaves
- fresh cucumber
- red fish or chicken fillet
How to Make an Oatmeal Pancake
Whisk the egg, oatmeal, milk, and a pinch of salt lightly with a fork in a separate bowl until smooth.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour the prepared mixture onto it. Cook the pancake on low heat for about 4–5 minutes on each side until it is golden brown.
Transfer the finished oatmeal pancake to a plate.
Filling and Serving
Spread cream cheese on one half of the pancake. Top with greens, cucumber slices, and pieces of red fish or chicken fillet.
Cover the filling with the other half of the pancake and serve.
