Casserole with red fish and broccoli is the perfect hot dish that combines healthy ingredients. Broccoli, as always, pairs wonderfully with fish, and the egg-cream filling adds tenderness and juiciness to the casserole. This dish will be an excellent option for a family dinner or entertaining guests.

Ingredients:

  • red fish fillet — 400 g;
  • broccoli — 400 g;
  • lemon juice — 2 tbsp;
  • mozzarella cheese — 150 g;
  • butter — 20 g;
  • black ground pepper;

For the filling:

  • chicken eggs — 4 pcs;
  • 10% cream — 100 ml;
  • milk — 200 ml;
  • salt.

Preparation:

  1. Prepare the broccoli: break into florets, dip into boiling water for 2-3 minutes, drain in a colander, rinse with cold water, and leave for a few minutes to drain excess liquid.

  2. Prepare the fish: wash the red fish fillet, pat dry with a paper towel, and cut into portion-sized pieces. Drizzle with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and leave for 15-20 minutes at room temperature.

  3. Prepare the mozzarella: slice the mozzarella balls.

  4. Filling: in a bowl, beat the eggs with salt, cream, and milk.

  5. Assemble the casserole: grease the baking dish with butter. Place the broccoli at the bottom, then a layer of fish, pour the filling over it, and top with mozzarella.

  6. Casserole: place the dish in a preheated oven at 190 degrees and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Tips:

  • You can use any red fish fillet of your choice for the recipe.
