The Microsoft founder apologized to employees of his charitable foundation for his association with the financier and made a shocking confession during a general meeting. He revealed that he had cheated on his wife multiple times — primarily, it turned out, with Russian women. His words were reported by The Wall Street Journal.

"I didn’t do anything illegal... It was a huge mistake to spend time with Epstein... I had affairs on the side, with a bridge player from Russia... and with a Russian nuclear physicist I met through work," he stated, emphasizing that none of the women were victims of Epstein's crimes.

"To be clear: I never spent time with victims, with women from his circle. It was a huge mistake to spend time with Epstein and to invite Gates Foundation executives to meetings with a convicted sex offender. I apologize to others who were affected by my mistake," Gates said.
