Winter often comes with apathy and a lack of energy, and the reason for this is a lack of activity. Psychologist Sergey Lang explained how to cope with fatigue and lift your spirits.
Physical Activity is the Main Stimulus
"In winter, people become passive: they lie at home with their phones and sadly look out the window. This won't bring joy," notes Lang. To improve the situation, the expert advises increasing physical activity. If going to the gym is not an option, home workouts will suffice: push-ups, squats, online classes. Loud music and dancing at home also help boost energy levels.
Creating a Pleasant Atmosphere
In addition to movement, it is important to create a comfortable mood at home. This can include scented candles, a relaxing bath, or other enjoyable rituals. According to Lang, the key to fighting winter fatigue is to take action and create joy and motivation for oneself.
