Cleaning the oven from grease and burnt food residues can be difficult, especially when the dirt is firmly embedded in the walls and door. The glass is considered the most problematic part, as achieving clarity without streaks is not easy.
You can tackle dirt without using expensive household chemicals. To prepare a cleaning agent, it is recommended to mix a teaspoon of toothpaste with dish gel in one container and in another container combine a teaspoon of baking soda with warm water. After that, both solutions are combined and mixed until a homogeneous consistency is achieved, and the prepared mixture is applied with a sponge or spray to the soiled surfaces.
Baking soda helps dissolve grease and enhances the action of the gel, while toothpaste acts as a mild abrasive. The mixture is left on the glass for 10–15 minutes, after which the dirt can be easily removed with a sponge or soft brush.
