Eat Every Day and Protect Your Heart: Cardiologist Names an Unexpected Product Against Heart Attacks

Eat once a day, you won't regret it: Cardiologist Bokeriya revealed a product for protection against heart attacks.

Many people are cautious about this product due to the risks of heart and vascular problems. However, cardiologists say the opposite is true. It is also clear that this is not a reason to overindulge.

Cardiologist and Professor Olga Bokeriya advises including eggs in your diet. At least a few times a week. And if you eat this product once a day, according to the specialist, you can even reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes.

As Olga Bokeriya states, many are afraid to eat eggs due to the cholesterol they contain, which is considered harmful to the vessels and heart. But this fear is unfounded.

"In fact, they are not harmful but beneficial for the cardiovascular and nervous systems, eyes, and many other organs," assured the cardiologist.

For example, eggs help lower triglyceride levels in the blood, which in turn reduces the risk of heart and vascular diseases. The doctor cited the results of one study that showed: people who ate one egg a day were 30% less likely to die from hemorrhagic stroke than those who did not eat eggs at all. Additionally, egg lovers showed a slower progression of pre-existing cardiovascular diseases, and in some cases, no progression at all.

"Eggs do not increase the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases; in fact, they reduce it. People who ate one egg a day were 20% less likely to develop heart and vascular diseases than those who did not eat eggs," noted Professor Bokeriya on her Telegram channel.

What Eggs Are Rich In

According to the doctor, first and foremost, eggs are an excellent source of complete protein. One egg contains at least 6 grams of protein. Moreover, with eggs, we get protein along with all nine essential amino acids—unique building blocks of protein. They are called essential because our body cannot synthesize them on its own; they are obtained only through food. For adults, these include leucine, isoleucine, valine, lysine, methionine, tryptophan, threonine, phenylalanine, and histidine.

But complete protein is not the only advantage of the product. According to Olga Bokeriya, one egg contains more nutrients than any other product. For example, they contain:

  • selenium,

  • phosphorus,

  • choline,

  • vitamin B12,

  • several antioxidants that help maintain the health of your cells.

And all this wealth comes with just 70 kcal per egg. Agree, this does not pose a great danger to your figure.
