AI is becoming part of the business processes of companies that seek to automate routine operations and reduce costs. This trend is particularly noticeable among entry-level specialists.
An analysis by the Adzuna platform showed that the number of vacancies for young professionals has decreased by 31.9 percent. Compared to the figures from 2022, the share of such offers has decreased by four percent and now accounts for only 25 percent of the total number of available positions.
The situation is indicative with the British telecommunications company BT Group. It announced a plan to implement AI technologies, which involves replacing 10,000 workers by 2030. Employees in call centers and network maintenance specialists are at risk of layoffs.
