Benefits of Tangerines:

  • Tangerines are rich in citric acid, which neutralizes harmful compounds, acting as a natural antidote.
  • The fruit contains many vitamins: ascorbic acid (vitamin C), B vitamins, K, D, and P vitamins.
  • Minerals: calcium, magnesium, and potassium.
  • Natural antidepressant: improves mood.
  • Not only the pulp is beneficial, but also the white mesh under the skin, which contains essential oils, flavonoids, and acids.

Contraindications:

  • Tangerines are not recommended for consumption in cases of acute nephritis, hepatitis, cholecystitis, and stomach ulcers.
  • People with diabetes should limit their intake due to sugar content.
  • The optimal norm is no more than 5–6 fruits per day.

How to Choose Tangerines:

  • Pay attention to the integrity of the fruits: there should be no damage, mold, or dark spots.
  • Varieties differ in density: for example, "Clementine" is firmer to the touch and contains the most vitamin C.
