The public ice rink at the Esplanade will operate this winter, the Riga City Council reported.
The ice rink at the Esplanade is expected to operate from December 1 to March 1.
The operation of the rink may be affected by weather conditions.
This year, skate rentals will also be available with a larger number of pairs.
The planned operating hours of the ice arena on weekdays are from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM with technical breaks for ice maintenance.
On weekends, the rink may operate from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
On New Year's Eve, the rink will be open until 2 AM.
