The "10 Tenors" project prepares a unique musical show in Riga featuring Latvian artists

In December, Latvia is set to experience a grand musical event - the concerts of the international project "10 Tenors" will turn into a true vocal show-festival, where global hits will resonate alongside beloved Latvian voices.

On December 17 in Daugavpils (Daugavpils Kultūras pils), December 18 in Valmiera (Valmieras Olimpiskais centrs), and December 19 in Riga (Xiaomi Arēna), 10 tenors from five countries, a symphony orchestra, and vibrant Latvian artists will share the stage.

The Riga concert will be special: for the first time during the tour, the distinctive ethno-pop group Tautumeitas and the brilliant vocalist Samanta Tina will join the project. Their participation will enrich the program with well-known Latvian compositions, organically combining global hits and national motifs into a single musical story.

Especially for the Latvian audience, the tenors are preparing new surprises: in addition to the legendary "Debesis iekrita tevī," which was performed twice as an encore in the summer, they are rehearsing several more Latvian pieces to perform together with local artists and provide the audience with truly unforgettable emotions.

The charming singer and television host Roberto Meloni will be the host of the Riga concert, while the role of the host in Valmiera will be performed by the popular theater and film actor Imants Strads.

The concert program covers the most recognizable global hits - from the iconic rock tracks of Queen, energetic compositions by Tom Jones, and ballads by Ed Sheeran to the immortal songs of Frank Sinatra, as well as beloved Italian and Latin American melodies such as "O Sole Mio," "Torna a Surriento," "La Bamba," and "Besame Mucho," along with the brightest opera arias by Verdi and Puccini. From pop-rock to timeless global melodies - music that unites generations, sounds without borders, and is understood by everyone. At the conductor's podium is Igor Yaroshenko (Ukraine), a distinguished figure in the arts and the chief choirmaster of the Kyiv National Operetta Theater. All arrangements for the project have been created by him specifically for the harmonious and unique sound of the tenors with the symphony orchestra.

Each of the tenors is a bright personality with their own timbre and style of performance, but together they create a powerful harmony that has become the hallmark of the project and has won the hearts of audiences across Europe.

The organizers promise: the "10 Tenors" concerts in Latvia will become one of the brightest cultural events of the winter. The audience can expect an evening filled with powerful energy, amazing creative duets, and an atmosphere of great art.
