Properly building morning habits can significantly improve mood, well-being, and overall productivity. This has been confirmed by researchers at Westminster University in their studies.

Proper Sleep

Tsareva emphasizes the importance of an individual approach to sleep duration. Some people need only 4–5 hours, while others require a full 12.

"It is necessary to find the optimal sleep time for oneself and stick to it regularly. You can establish a routine in a couple of weeks. If you wake up at the same time on both weekdays and weekends, mornings will start easily," the expert explained.

Morning Exercise

The sleep specialist recommends spending the first 15 minutes after waking up in bed before getting up. To fully wake up, it is beneficial to drink coffee. After 15 minutes, one should perform light exercises for 10–15 minutes. This is enough to get the blood flowing and shake off drowsiness.

Breakfast

The expert advises not to limit oneself to just coffee and to have breakfast.

"If a person develops the habit of having breakfast at the same time, it will be easier to get up: by that time, the body will feel hungry. This helps to train oneself for earlier wake-ups and to feel alert after waking up," Tsareva added.
