В каждом периоде жизни можно найти свои радости.

During this period, stress levels soar, and there is a lack of finances.

In everyone's life, there comes a time when it seems that everything is going wrong: there is no money, work is boring, there are problems in personal life, and overall there is no mood for anything — in general, a complete decline in strength and energy! And no, this is not a description of autumn depression, as many might think. Such a period can come for anyone. You can call it a midlife crisis or an 'unhappy age,' but knowing when to prepare for changes in mood is probably worth it...

Researchers from Dartmouth College and the National Bureau of Economic Research have found out when a person experiences the 'most unhappy age.' And it is... drumroll... 47-48 years! During this period, stress levels soar, there is a lack of finances, and hair begins to gray quickly.

To confirm the statistics, the researchers analyzed data from approximately 500,000 people from 145 countries around the world. The difference between rich and poor countries is small.

Experts also add that the 'unhappy age' is generally universal and the same for people regardless of gender, age, country of residence, or their family and social status. The authors of the study believe that the true cause of gloom lies in the biochemical processes of the human body and also explain it by general aging.

But don’t rush to get upset. There is good news! By the age of 65-70, the desire to live and the ability to feel happy return to a person and even peak at 80 years old.
