Journalists from TechSpot have listed the most anticipated games of 2026 among gamers. The list is available on the media's website.
First and foremost, the authors mentioned 007: First Light, which will tell the origin story of special agent James Bond. The game will be released on consoles and personal computers on May 27. They also noted Replaced, which has been in development since 2018, a new game from the iconic Fable series, and the next installment of the real-time strategy Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War 4.
The list includes Phantom Blade Zero — a role-playing game for fans of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Stellar Blade, and Black Myth: Wukong. Control Resonant will be a continuation of the famous game Control from Remedy, and it is expected to be released by the end of the year. Additionally, the journalists highlighted their anticipation for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred - the game is announced for April 28. One of the most anticipated games of 2026 turned out to be GTA VI.
The selection also includes Subnautica 2, Forza Horizon 6, Crimson Desert, Slay the Spire 2, Gears of War: E-Day, Star Wars: Zero Company, Gothic 1 Remake, and Resident Evil Requiem.
