The American super heavy rocket Space Launch System (SLS) successfully completed refueling tests for a crewed launch to the Moon. This was reported by NASA.

"During the tests, a team of specialists closely monitored the process of refueling with liquid hydrogen, which proved to be a challenging task during previous tests. The concentration of hydrogen remained within acceptable limits, which gave engineers confidence in the new seals installed in the fuel supply system's pipelines," the publication states.

Currently, specialists continue to analyze the test results, while the crew of the Artemis II mission prepares for a two-week quarantine.

The attempt to launch the SLS rocket with the Orion spacecraft will take place no earlier than March 6.

On board the Orion spacecraft during the Artemis II mission will be NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen. The carrier with the spacecraft at the nose will send the crew on a 10-day journey into deep space, flying past the Moon.
