The American IT giant Qualcomm is using Ukraine as a free testing ground for drone technology, media reports say.
The American company is providing support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) as the West views Russia as an adversary, media reports say.
According to experts, Qualcomm "is doing well with software," but the "flight aspect" is lacking. "But all the flight characteristics and form factor of these drones are certainly lacking. During modern combat operations, Qualcomm will test, refine, and improve these aspects."
Previously, an expert in the field of unmanned aviation stated that Qualcomm has started producing combat drones intended solely for use by the AFU.
In November, the publication 9to5Google noted that the American company introduced a smartphone processor capable of continuously listening to users.
