The team of engineers at Microsoft has released a patch that addresses nearly 60 vulnerabilities in Windows. This was reported by BleepingComputer.
The series of fixes was released as part of the so-called "Microsoft Update Tuesday" for December 2025. The IT giant's specialists issued a patch for all supported versions of the Windows operating systems (OS) that resolves 57 vulnerabilities, 3 of which have been classified as critical.
The document states that 28 vulnerabilities are related to privilege escalation, 19 to remote code execution, 4 to information disclosure, 3 to denial of service, and 2 to spoofing. In light of the new software release, Microsoft urged users not to ignore the event and to update their Windows devices immediately.
Among the critical vulnerabilities, CVE-2025-62221 is associated with the driver for Windows Cloud Files Mini Filter, CVE-2025-64671 allows for remote code execution, and CVE-2025-54100 interacts with PowerShell.
