On Thursday, the operation of cloud services provided by the State Joint Stock Company "Latvian State Radio and Television Centre" (LVRTC) was disrupted, the LETA agency learned from LVRTC.
The unavailability of the service is caused by the simultaneous failure of several devices in the virtualization cluster, resulting in the clusters operating in a limited mode, and the services provided to individual clients being disrupted or unavailable. In particular, some websites may be inaccessible or slow to load.
LVRTC is maintaining communication with clients to provide comprehensive support during the service outage.
LVRTC is the main operator of the terrestrial broadcasting network for radio and television programs in the country. The center also manages the state-owned shares in the mobile operator "Latvijas mobilais telefons" (LMT).
