Valve is announcing the game Half-Life 3 as early as November. This was stated by the well-known blogger and data miner Tyler McVicker on his YouTube blog.
A data miner, gathering information based on a large amount of data, revealed that Half-Life 3 could be announced in the coming weeks. He disclosed insider information that the first trailer for the upcoming game will be shown as early as November. Tyler McVicker found out that the new installment of Half-Life is at a very advanced stage of development and therefore can speak with such confidence about the release dates.
The specialist also suggested that Valve wants to attract as many gamers as possible. Tyler McVicker noted that if the American studio indeed releases the long-awaited game in November, it will be nominated for The Games Awards 2025 — the ceremony will take place on December 11.
The first part of the Half-Life series was released in 1998, and in 2004, Valve presented the sequel. The last full-fledged game in the series was Half-Life: Alyx — a VR shooter released in March 2020.
In September, blogger Tyler McVicker stated that he found further confirmation of the imminent release of a new game in the Half-Life series. He discovered numerous mentions of HL3 in the code of updates for the games Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and Deadlock.
