Rising above the shores of the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia, the Jeddah Tower is set to become the tallest building in the world — a grand structure that may surpass even the legendary Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
It is expected to reach a height of 1000 meters, and this project embodies Saudi Arabia's growing ambitions to transform its cities and diversify its economy as part of the national Vision 2030 strategy.
Originally known as the Kingdom Tower, it began construction in 2013 as part of the massive Jeddah Economic City project — a new urban center in northern Jeddah that combines residential neighborhoods, business, and cultural spaces.
After several stops due to financial and logistical difficulties, construction has resumed. According to the latest reports, the building has already reached approximately the 70th floor, with completion projected for 2028. This phase marks the revival of one of the most ambitious architectural projects of modern times, capable of overshadowing even Dubai's Burj Khalifa.

When completed, the Jeddah Tower will become a true vertical city: it will house luxury apartments, office spaces, a world-class hotel, observation decks, and retail areas.
Its elegant, aerodynamic silhouette with a triangular base is designed to withstand strong wind loads and reduce internal stresses — an engineering solution necessary for a building of such scale.
Innovative architectural solutions and eco-friendly technologies make the tower an example of sustainable construction for the next generation of super-tall buildings.
