Putin announced the testing of a nuclear underwater drone

According to Putin, the underwater drone "Poseidon" has no analogs in the world and is impossible to intercept. Earlier, Donald Trump criticized the statements of his Russian counterpart regarding the testing of the "Burevestnik" missile.

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the testing of the underwater drone "Poseidon," equipped with a nuclear power plant. On Wednesday, October 29, during a meeting with military personnel, he stated that during the tests conducted the day before, the device was successfully launched for the first time using the launch engine from a carrier submarine, as well as activating the nuclear power plant, on which the "Poseidon" operated for a certain amount of time. The Kremlin's press service published a video recording of the speech.

According to Putin, the "Poseidon," whose power "significantly exceeds" that of Russia's new intercontinental ballistic missile "Sarmat," is impossible to intercept and has no analogs in the world "in terms of speeds and depths of movement."
