German tennis player Tatjana Maria reached the final of the WTA 250 tournament in Eastbourne (England) at the age of 38.

In the semifinals, the German won the first set against Alena Ostapenko (Latvia) with a score of 6:1. In the second set, the Latvian withdrew due to health reasons while leading 2:1.

In the final, Maria will face the winner of the match between Madison Keys (USA) and Petra Martić (Croatia).
