Honored Coach of the USSR in figure skating Tatiana Tarasova is in intensive care.
According to unofficial information, the critical moment is behind, the 79-year-old coach is conscious but continues to be under medical supervision.
Tarasova is a master of sports of the USSR of international class. In 1975, she was awarded the title of Honored Coach of the USSR.
Among her students are Olympic champions Alexei Yagudin, Irina Rodnina, Alexander Zaitsev, Natalia Bestemianova and Andrei Bukin, Oksana Grishchuk and Evgeni Platov.
In 2008, she was inducted into the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame.
