Spanish club Barcelona will receive guaranteed financial compensation from the International Football Federation (FIFA) due to the injury of forward Rafinha in a match for the Brazilian national team.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the organization will pay the Catalan club less than 150,000 euros.
Payments will start accruing from April 23, when the winger's absence exceeds 28 days, which is the threshold of the club protection program. The amount of daily compensation is 20,548 euros.
If the Brazilian returns to action as predicted at the end of April, the 'blaugrana' will receive 143,836 euros.
Rafinha sustained a hamstring injury in the first half of the friendly match between Brazil and France (1:2). Barcelona reported that the 29-year-old forward will miss five weeks.
