Vittozzi won the mass start at the final stage of the World Cup in Holmenkollen

Italian biathlete Lisa Vittozzi became the winner of the women's mass start race at the ninth and final stage of the World Cup in Holmenkollen, Norway.

The 2026 Olympic champion completed the 12.5 km distance in 34 minutes 58.9 seconds, with one miss at four shooting ranges. Second place was taken by Swedish athlete Hanna Ebergh (4.2 seconds behind, one miss), and third place went to Czech athlete Teresa Vobornikova (+17.2, one miss).

The winner of the mass start standings was French athlete Julia Simon, who finished sixth (+26.8, three misses).

The last races of their careers were held by world champion Austrian Lisa Teresa Hauser (19th place) and multiple World Cup medalist Slovak Paulina Batovska-Fialkova (7th place).

Later on Sunday, the season will conclude with the men's mass start.
