Colorado forward Nathan MacKinnon scored a double in the NHL regular season match against Detroit (5:0).

The 30-year-old Canadian scored his 40th goal of the current championship and continues to lead the list of top snipers for the 2025/26 season.

In second place is Edmonton forward Connor McDavid with 34 goals. Cole Caufield from Montreal has moved up to a solid third place, having scored a double in the match against Buffalo (4:2), bringing his season total to 32 goals.
